If your dock framing and pilings are sound but the surface is worn, splintered, or rotting, re-decking gives you a brand-new dock surface at a fraction of the cost of a full rebuild. Jordan Marine Construction re-decks docks and piers across Greater Houston, Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston, and the Texas Gulf Coast.
We replace tired boards with new radius-edge treated timber or low-maintenance composite — including MoistureShield — for a clean, safe, splinter-free surface that lasts.

- 1
Framing Inspection
We confirm the framing and pilings are sound enough to carry new decking, and flag any structural repairs needed first.
- 2
Material Selection
We help you choose radius-edge treated timber or composite decking such as MoistureShield, based on look, maintenance, and budget.
- 3
Tear-Off & Re-Deck
We remove the old decking, make any minor framing repairs, and install the new surface with corrosion-resistant fasteners.
- 4
Finish
We finish edges and trim for a clean, safe, long-lasting dock surface.
Decking Options
We re-deck with radius-edge timber treated for the environment (2.5 CCA saltwater, .60 freshwater) or with composite decking. For composite we install MoistureShield, which we consider the strongest performer for waterfront decks. Fasteners are hot-dip galvanized or stainless.
